Ok. So i have returned from ribbits. and boy am i full… so full i am kinda sick at the thought of eating meat (NOOO!) i hope it wares out over the next couple of days. i plan to eat just a plain vegie salad at work tomorrow =D.

Well for $22 bucks i am pretty sure i hate my money’s worth. Along side Lisa, Josh, Sean and Li. The others were jay, tim jen, kasey, leon, christianne, christine and of course our organiser mae! but Let me tell you what we ordered

Round 1:

• 2 plates of ribs
• 4 bowls of pasta
• 1 large pizza (12 slices)
• 2 bowls of garlic bread

Round 2:

• 2 plates of ribs
• 2 more bowls of pasta
• 1 beef and onion pizza (8 slices)
• 1 all meat pizza (4 slices)

Round 3:

• 2 plates of ribs
• 1 bowl of pasta (i think came out)
• 1 seafood pizza (4 slices)
• 1 bacon, chicken and banana pizza (4 slices)

Round 4:

• 2 plates or ribs (1 plate had 6 potatoes on it haha i think they are trying to fill us up on starch)

We also had water and a bottle of sprite along with this MASSIVE MEAL!

Yeap that is alot of food… respect to li, lisa, josh and sean and myself who probably ate atleast 14 ribs each! haha but all in all it was a pretty awesome night fellowshipping together.

Okay so imagine 6 plates of this stuff… but the first couple of plates had about 4 racks of ribs - later on the plates had about 5 or 6! haha

ribbits.  Nope it isn’t a place where frogs are eaten but ribs… all you can eat ribs.  That is the dinner destination for tonight and i am looking forward to it.  I hear there is also garlic bread and pizza and other stuff so im ready to stuff my face full of protein… which is good for growing muscles haha.

Wow God has really been speaking to me ALOT in my day to day life!  One area of my character that i want to grow in is integrity.  And as i committed this area of my life to God He has answered back in fullforce!  Everyday I am challenged by a prompting of the Holy Spirit to not steal that cookie, to not wash the dishes by dipping them in and out of the water, to not say that discouraging thing to my friend, to not speed … and the list goes on and on!

Man it is so tough!  There are times where i say … God not now… i can get the dishes done faster if i just do it quickly… or this pay out is really funny God, common God you know I’m only joking!

Well God’s reply is always .. you asked for it…  But the biggest blow to my ego was when i was editing my bebo about me page.  as i wrote my about me section i, as usual, wrote that i am a Christian and a Christ follower but as i finished it and read it over God spoke to me.

“you tell the world on your blog, your myspace, your facebook and your bebo that your a Christian.  You tell people that your whole life is devoted to me.  You claim that you love Me with all your heart and that you would do anything for me.  Yet you are still unable to love the unloved… you are still unable to say no to your fleshly desires… you are still unable to say sorry because your pride has come before humility… If you want to claim that you are my disciple then you have to be live it.  Actions speak much louder then words…. so turn the words on your “about me” section into your life”

WOW… my heart sank as i felt so ashamed before God… but God reminded me that it is by my grace that you can live… and although i still felt ashamed before God i know that he loves me and that he wants me to be his ambassador!

stink… yes right now i stink… pretty bad…

but its the stink of satisfaction.  =D had an awesome i-life with V10  and VS (well the two people from VS =D).  Was a really chilled casual atmosphere.  In line with the Australia Day tradition we had a BBQ with sausages, steaks, rissoles and chicken wings with big bowls of salad! haha… so that is why i stink coz i was the cook =D

But i think the most awesome thing was just the atmosphere.  I think there is only one word that can describe it.

family.

yeap its that loving, caring, comfortable, no worries kinda atmosphere that you get when ya chilling out with ya family!

God! this generation has become so blind to the truth!  God open the eyes of Your people to the tactics of the enemY!

Tuesday’s prayer meeting was a really refreshing time for me.  God spoke one word extremely clearly to me that night

.surrender.

Through that God inspired some words to me

my pride to humility

well last night i finally cleaned up my room 100%.  That included re-arranging my wardrobe, throwing out old clothes/rubbish/cluttering items, rearranging my cupboards/hats etc.  And boy was it a mission!  I should have taken a before and after photo but sadly i didn’t.  Well i started cleaning 2 or 3 days ago but got through 25% of my wardrobe and just gave up… but last night i was really into the mood and i had made such a mess trying to rearrange that i couldnt stop till it was done!  Yes i reached my threshold of messiness!

So by 4:30 am (with the sun rising) it was done!  I had completely cleaned up and thrown out all the junk in my room!  It concluded with 4 bags of clothes, 2 bags of rubbish and a very messy floor haha, i still need to vaccum which i am going to do now!

WOOO!!! ask those who have seen my room for a explanation of how messy it was before (nick, aaron, mum, aunty stacey, sean, phil, ash)

 Tonight I had the privilege to sit in a meeting with the HQ department heads of HBCC with the other point people within the 3 weekend services.  I have to say that after this meeting i left with a sense of refreshment and awe of what God is doing and is going to do with our church!  I also left thanking God for the leadership he has placed above me because like what Ps Wen’an said tonight “people don’t see the commitment behind the scenes, instead they see the final product and our failures” tonight i got a glimpse of what goes on underneath the excitement and systems of Friday and Sunday’s services.  God has truly placed some of the most passionate, devoted leaders around me!

So two hard-hitting points i learnt tonight are:

- We never want to point people to people, places or even God, we want to bring people to people, places and God! [Ivy Lee]

as many know i am a committed user of MSN. But tonight as i logged on God placed an extremely deep burden for this generation. as a committed user of MSN, i am also a committed reader of the ninemsn today popup with the lastest news. for a while now i have noticed an increasing number of articles about teens and young people being either the victim of a crime or even worse the cause of a crime. tonight i read an article of a father who threw his 4 children off a 24m high bridge into a river after a dispute with his wife.

But the real knife to the heart was an article about a 14-year old boy charged with rape.

Join me in intercession for this generation. if there was ever a gap to stand in… now is the time!

Lord what is happening to this generation.what has caused the enemy to tighten his grip around the hearts of those around me.my heart cries out for this generation. i must reacquaint my knees with the carpet. i must intercede for those that do not know.forgive me for avoiding the gap you have called me to fill. Lord no more, the enemy will not prevail.this generation will be won for you
