While driving in the rain today i thought to myself
‘Man it’s pouring down hard, kind of annoying’ but then I believe i was quickly corrected by the Holy Spirit and he reminded me about how there was such a push for christians to pray for rain.
I thought to myself, ‘we are such a strange creation. We prayed so hard and for so long for rain… and when we woke up on day 2 of the storm most of us were saying ‘I wish it would stop raining already!’ when we should of been thanking God for bringing us our of level 6 restrictions and filling up our half full water tanks that we were encouraged to buy’
When i got home I began to think about church life. Do i have this same mind-set in my ministry? do i cry out ‘Lord! You promised a wave! Where is it!?’ but when the waves come will I step back and go ‘Woah Lord! To many waves… too many!’ I pray that i won’t, instead I want to rise up and say ‘BRING ON MORE WAVES GOD!’
this is so nice. I reakcon this is what it will be like when we go up to heaven. There’ll be a huge cheering squad waiting for us to walk through those pearly gates we may know some, we may not but what matters is that all of heaven is cheering us on!
btw. an entry on the priesthood seminar and the end times seminar will be coming soon!
The best things in life are found in the unexpected. Like when you are sorting through your files on the computer and you come across a photo that absolutely floors you and renders you helpless because of the pure joy it brings.
ready for it. Congradulations to the lucky bride =D
this for those early risers [esp. at camps] that think its cool to wake up the whole campsite
and this is for those unearly risers that need a quick cunning remark to shut those early risers up.
Proverbs 27:14
If a man loudly blesses his neighbor early in the morning, it will be taken as a curse
so don’t bother flattering me in the early AM… the Word is so wise ain’t it. This scripture will be quoted by me regularly at Hope SG camp. i am prepared
